HOT BRIQUETTED IRON (HBI)

HOT BRIQUETTED IRON (HBI)

Hot Briquetted Iron (HBI) is a compacted form of Direct Reduced Iron (DRI), produced by briquetting hot DRI at high temperature. Its high density, low porosity, and excellent stability

HBI is widely used in Electric Arc Furnaces (EAF), Induction Furnaces (IF), and Basic Oxygen Furnaces (BOF) for producing high-quality steel with consistent chemistry.
